Sometimes when he wasn’t busy succeeding he would put his hands on his wife and she would be lucky if nothing was broken in the morning; hands so practiced at catching a football can firmly grasp a person’s throat. And once he swung a golf club into his child to quiet her crying, but he has business acumen and a camera-friendly persona that’s good for the team and for national ratings.
